The
210 MW Unit-6 at Panipat has been synchronized with the grid on 31.3.2001. The
unit has achieved full load on 22.7.2001. Thermal Power Stations of
HPGCLL achieved lowest ever specific oil consumption of 5.97 ml/Kwh during the
year 2000-2001 as compated to 12.70 ml/kwh during the year 1998-99 which resulted
into saving of Rs. 25.20 crores during 2000-01 & cummulative saving of Rs.41.68
Crore. Thermal Power Stations of HPGCLL achieved specific coal consumption
of 816 gms/kwh during 2000-01 as compared to 838 gms/kwh during 1998-99 which
is resulted into saving or Rs. 13.32 Crore during the year 2000-01 and cummulative
saving of Rs.37.29 Crore.
The Power Station wise achievements are as under: PTPS
110 MW Unit-I achieved Highest-ever Generation of 444.87 MU (PLF = 46.17%) during
the Year 2000-2001.
110 MW Unit-4 achieved Highest generation of 603.10 MU (PLF= 62.59%) in the Last
10 years during the Year 2000-01.
TDLTPS achieved Lowest-ever
Specific Oil Consumption of 6.23 ml/KWH during the Year 2000-01.
4 x 110 MW Units achieved Lowest-ever Specific Oil Consumption of 10.18 ml/KWH
during the Year 2000-2001.
Unit-5 generated 159.02 MU during October, 2000 with a PLF of 101.78% which is
the Highest-ever so far.
WYC
HE Station, Yamunanagar
WYC HE Station achieved
a generation of 241.81 MU during the year 2000-2001 against a target of 228 MU,
thus exceeding the target by 6%.
Kakroi
Micro Hydel Station (3x100 KW)
Kakroi Micro Hydel
Station achieved highest generation of 4,84,296 Units during the year 2000-2001.
The earlier highest generation of 3,48,691 units was achieved during 1999-2000.
This project was transferred to HPGCLL during June, 1999 when the plant was non-functional
as all the three machines were out of operation. Now all the three machines have
been made functional. It is added that the third machine though installed during
1992, has been made operational for the first time.
