Land measuring 1107 acres acquired by erstwhile HSEB near village Ratanpura in
Distt. Yamuna Nagar during 1983-86 period. |

The Haryana Irrigation Dept. has sanctioned 20 cusecs of water from WJC on 11.03.2003.

d) MoE&F clearance

The Environment clearance was received from MoE&F in Nov., 2004 |

e) Chimney height clearance from Airport Authority of India |
Airport Authority
of India (AAI) issued NOC for construction of 275 M high chimney. The validity
of the NOC was 4 years from 16.07.2002. The AAI have issued the fresh NOC on 08.03.2007.

f) Coal linkage |
The Ministry of Coal granted coal linkage to the tune of 2.25 MTPA for 2x250 MW
YTPP, Stage-II. Since the project was awarded to M/s REL for turnkey implementation
with capacity of 2x300 MW, Ministry of Coal was requested to enhance the coal
linkage from 2.25 MTPA to 3.00 MTPA. In view of the enhanced
capacity of Project from 2 X 250 MW to 2 X 300 MW, 0.52 MTPA additional coal linkage
has been granted by Ministry of Coal in SLC meeting on 20.12.2006 and for balance
quantity of 0.23 MTPA, matter has been taken up with Ministry of Coal. |

– I: · Boiler
lighted up on 25.08.07 and Unit synchronized on Oil on 13.11.07. · Full
load on coal firing achieved on 03.02.2008. ·
The Unit is under Trial Operation w.e.f. 31.03.2008. ·
PG Test is scheduled from 23.05.2008 to 14.06.2008. · Provisional
taking over after successful completion of PG Test. ·
Final taking over after completion of all punch list points. Unit
– II: · Boiler
light up done on 30.12.2007 ·
Unit synchronized on Oil on 29.03.2008. ·
Coal firing is likely to commence from 20.04.2008. ·
The Trial operation of Unit is expected to commence from 27.04.2008 and completed
by 17.05.2008. ·
Provisional taking over after successful PG test is expected by 20.06.2008. c)
